Marketing/Sales Intern

At Trendful you will join a small team on an ambitious journey to change commerce. Trendful is Shopify for the resale market, we are building apps to empower merchants to acquire pre-owned inventory directly from their customer base.

Our products/services include a merchant admin (“back-office”), storefront resale app, and price database. Our software can then help merchants to automate their business operations and enable them to focus on scaling their businesses.

Our fundamental goal is to craft economic change with sustainability in mind. We believe there should be an easy way for trillions of dollars of goods to join the circular economy.

At Trendful, you will get to:

• Work directly with the founders to understand Trendful’s sales and marketing strategy
• Help source and qualify incoming sales leads
• Learn more about our sales process from the time a lead is found to onboarding as a new customer
• Help create engaging marketing content through social media and blog articles

You will be effective if you have:

• Knowledge of Google Suite (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, etc)
• Proficient in Pixelmator (or Photoshop equivalent), Social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
• Professional maturity, responsibility and strong work ethic
• Detail-oriented 
• An organized approach to prioritizing projects and the ability to multitask

Nice-to have:

• Previous experience using a CRM (or willingness to learn Close CRM)
• Previous experience using a social media content scheduler (or willingness to learn Buffer)
• Previous graphic design experience
• Previous experience writing blog content
• Interest or past industry experience in the resale market or luxury brands

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the US
• Located in the US
• 20hrs per week max
• 2-month commitment
