Trendful Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Trendful Inc. ("Trendful", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies. It applies to the Trendful website at trendful.com, the Trendful Admin, and the cookies and similar technologies that Trendful sets when it powers a client’s Resale App and Sell Form on that client’s website. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum, which describe how we handle personal information more generally.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more efficient, and to provide reporting information. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called “first-party cookies.” Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third-party cookies.”
“Similar technologies” include pixels or web beacons (small images used to understand activity), local storage, and software development kits (SDKs), which can perform functions similar to cookies. In this Cookie Policy, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as “cookies.”
Cookies can be “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
2. Where and how Trendful uses cookies
Trendful uses cookies in two distinct contexts:
(a) On trendful.com and the Trendful Admin
When you visit our website or sign in to the Trendful Admin, we use cookies that are necessary to operate the site and the Admin, to keep you signed in, to remember your preferences, to keep the service secure, and to understand how the site and Admin are used so we can improve them.
(b) When we power a client’s Resale App and Sell Form
When a Trendful client embeds the Resale App or Sell Form on their website, Trendful sets cookies on the devices of that client’s customers as necessary to make the Resale App and Sell Form function (for example, to maintain a submission session, to keep the embed secure, and to sync submissions to the client’s Trendful Admin). In this context, the Trendful client is generally the party responsible for the personal information of its own customers, and Trendful acts as the client’s data processor or service provider, as described in our Data Processing Addendum. The client is responsible for providing its customers with appropriate notice and, where required, obtaining consent for these cookies.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to provide the website, the Trendful Admin, the Resale App, and the Sell Form and to enable core features such as signing in, security, and load balancing. Because they are essential, they cannot be switched off through our cookie controls, and consent is not required for them.
Functional cookies
These cookies allow us to remember choices you make (such as language or display preferences) and provide enhanced, more personalized features.
Analytics and performance cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website and Admin by collecting and reporting information, generally on an aggregated basis, so we can measure and improve performance.
Advertising cookies
If used, these cookies are set to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant content on other sites. Trendful is a business-to-business platform and does not run a consumer advertising business; confirm whether any advertising or marketing cookies (for example, from social or ad platforms) are in use.

5. Third-party cookies
On trendful.com, Google is the only third party that sets cookies, through Google Analytics, and only if you accept analytics cookies. Its use of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies. Our website analytics provider, Vercel, is cookieless, and the videos we embed use YouTube's no-cookie domain.
6. Your choices and how to manage cookies
Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block cookies. If you block or delete cookies, some parts of the website, the Trendful Admin, the Resale App, or the Sell Form may not function properly. For more information, see your browser’s help documentation.
Cookie banner and preference controls
On trendful.com we show visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland a consent banner before any analytics cookie is set. Rejecting is offered as prominently as accepting, and no analytics cookie is set unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. The banner is our own; we do not use a third-party consent platform. For the Resale App and Sell Form embedded on a client's site, the client is responsible for any consent prompt on that site.
Analytics opt-outs
Where we use third-party analytics, you may be able to opt out through tools provided by the analytics provider, in addition to using our cookie controls.
7. Region-specific information
EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on your consent to set non-essential cookies, and strictly necessary cookies are set without consent as permitted by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie controls described above. Our processing of personal information is described further in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
California
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, which can include certain cookie-based activities. To the extent any of our cookie activity constitutes a sale or sharing under California law, we provide a means to opt out.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is not yet a common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, our website may not respond to them. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals as described above.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Cookie Policy. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically.
