Are there limits on shipping labels during the free trial?

Yes. Until your first subscription payment goes through, shipping labels have a few limits. They protect your card, and us, from labels that can't be paid for. Once your first payment goes through, these limits no longer apply.

Your card is checked when you buy a label. When you, or a customer through your resale app, buy a label, we place a temporary hold on your card for the label, insurance and card fees. Nothing is charged yet. The hold is charged when the carrier first scans the package, and released if the label is cancelled. If your card is declined, the label isn't created: update your card in Settings > Billing and try again.

Up to $100 of labels can be unpaid at once. Labels and insurance that haven't been paid yet, including a scanned label whose charge failed, can add up to $100 in your shipping currency. Once a label is scanned and paid, it no longer counts toward the limit. Testing labels you won't ship? Cancel them from the offer: a cancelled label isn't charged, its hold is released, and it frees up your limit right away. If you need more room during your trial, contact us in the chat.

Unused labels are cancelled automatically. A label bought during the trial that hasn't been scanned by the carrier within 3 days is cancelled automatically shortly after, and you aren't charged for it. If your Expiration period setting is shorter, it still applies. Labels bought after your first payment follow your setting again.
